Look at this picture. These are British apple. Aren't they smaller than Japanese apples? When I visited UK, I ate British apples and I thought it was totally different from Japanese. First, the sizes are smaller as you can find out on the picture. It's small enough to take bites out of a whole apple. Japanese apples are so big that we have better to cut them and share, but I don't like this style.
The taste and texture are also different. I think Japanese apples are softer and sweeter that British ones. I do prefer the latter. I love crunchy and sour apples.

I like both apples in Brtish and Japan.

I like crunchy apples too. I haven't had British apples, but I think Japanese "Sanfuji" apples are tasty.
